Near Death Experiences

The closest anyone has ever come to knowing about death is through a "near death" experience in which the person is clinically dead but somehow "returns" to life. We call it a "near death" experience because the person lives to tell others about it. During near death experiences, people leave their bodies and observe themselves from above in the death scene. They do not feel the pain of the event that has created the near death experience, but they see and hear all that is happening. Simultaneously, they observe a friendly and welcoming light and are drawn by the warmth of it. They are given the choice to follow the light (toward death) or to return to life. People who choose to return never fear death again. They become spiritual, but not religious.

We have learned from people who have had near death experiences that it is very pleasant and certainly nothing to fear.
