Religion is Dangerous to our Children
Though you might find it hard to believe, I like religions. They provide valuable services: charity to those in need, counseling, education, friendship, places to socialize. However, just because religions do great things for people, they are not necessarily to be trusted with our children! Our children's minds are helpless and vulnerable at this time of their development, and they will accept any insertion as truth. Kids are too young to evaluate dogmatic insertions, and they end up as unconscious religious robots. The younger the child, the deeper the insertion of belief systems, and the greater unconscious commitment to the religion. The child, in turn, will unconsciously do the same to his or her children. This is the way a religion captures families for centuries. This is why religion is so dangerous for our children.
